A 25" x 25" cedar block wood coffee table, stained black, and topped with 1674 toy army men. Each soldier had been hand-painted with gold leaf and cemented to the table's surface. Adhered to the top of the soldiers, rests a 1/4" polished sheet of glass. Taking a closer look one will see regimented rows of soldiers standing in formation on the outside edges. But moving towards the center, formation breaks and chaos unfolds, gradually becoming worse and worse. At the very center, lies just a pile of limbs and helmets.
